Canterbury Museum & Christchurch Botanic Garden

When we reached Christchurch, we were taken for a city trip. We were brought to the Canterbury Museum and the Botanic Garden.

I like its unique achitecture.

Marble Statue of Captain Robert Falcon Scott

During the earthquake of 22 Feb 2011, it fell and fractured into two.

This fountain of the Botanic Garden is beautiful.

I would love to explore further but time was limited.

A snapshot with my SIL before we adjourned to view the mountains of the Southern Alps.
